On my Datalink you can toggle the display to show the LAP on the primary line (the large numbers) and the SPLIT on the secondary line (the smaller numbers), or vice versa.

You do this on the DataLink by lifting the "crown", not sure how to do it exactly on the Sleek 50-Lap watch. You could consult your manual, or download the manual from timex.com if you don't have a manual.

I get the 10 second "freeze" too, don't think there's any way to avoid it unfortunately.

I have the IRONMAN* Triathlon® Sleek 50-Lap...My chrono was working fine up until recently. Typically I enter the chrono mode and press start and it functions almost as a stopwatch, with the running time displayed in the exact location as the four 0's that show up. When I hit split, the split was recorded, but the actual running time display was NEVER interrupted. Now all of a sudden it displays the running time off to the right side of the screen (big seconds, small milli), and when I hit split it pauses the running timer and you have to wait 10 seconds before it is restored. How do I get it back to normal?HELP!!!!!

That would be because I made a mistake, thanks for pointing that out Ron. The split time at 1:15 would be 1:15, not 35 seconds as it originally stated. I've now corrected it.

For example if, the clock has been running for 1:15 and you press START/SPLIT, your “split” time is 35 seconds"

How do you get 35 seconds from 1:15 (75 seconds)????
