So the other day I stumbled upon an interesting article on the Run Oregon Blog about just how obsessed runners are about times.
When asked “How fast are you?” very few runners will say, “I’m really fast”, most will probably give you a per mile pace or say “I’m slow”.
He raises the point, what exactly is slow? How many people at our work could do what we do? How many people could run more than three miles?
